It's been a while since I've last said anything here, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. In the last few years I've done so much.

I've graduated from Specs Howard. A trade school for graphic design.

I am currently attending the College For Creative Studies as an animation major, on my second year. There I've met new artists and partnered up with my fellow classmates. Berat Ljumani, Sabrina Stein (her DA account )and Ashton Moore.

Together we've formed a team I like to call MGLO Studios and are all doing our best to produce content.

While we collaborate on many projects currently we are working on an upcomming story through Saturday-AM Sat AM's Website called Monster Blue (Formerly known as Mizuran) which you can find the pilot to here. [link]

I have many new things and experiences I can't wait for and though I'm moving to a new account, this ol' dinosaur of an account stays up for better or worse. Had too many memories here to let it all go, but for the new  memories, be sure to head...

My new main account

I've been away for a while, taking care of thing in my new trade school Specs Howard and things have been okay for me. I know how to use tons of adobe products and make basic websites so now I think it's time for me to come back to life.

I'm working on a new story, called The Kingdom of Dioluna. It takes place in a semi modern day - fantasy, magic type setting with some inspiration from Fairy Tail and Kingdom Hearts. No this doesn't mean I've abandoned Mizuran (In fact I know everything from beginning to end in this story and have 9 Saga's planned), I'm just putting that on an extended hold. I want to use TKoD as leeway into the industry and when I've built up a big name for myself, I'll release Mizuran as my Magnum Opis. So until then I'll be uploading some nice pictures, sample pages, character consepts and doing free requests for others.

This is a call out for help, for anyone who wants to make it into the Comic/Manga industry. I've come to terms that it will take me forever if i plan to make it into the business on my own. So with some helpful advise from Kenshiro7 I've decided to branch out and ask for help.

What i want is a team of artists and writers about 5 people large with a goal to create a new mainstream title that will grab attention and give us a shot directly into the manga publishing business.

My story, Mizuran Water Storm is thought out from beginning to end, with 35 story arcs planned from beginning to end, but that story is too large scale and will take to long for us to start our careers. So to build up our resume our team should create a complete action packed story with a run time of about 50-100 chapters maximum. With our team gaining publicity through YouTube and Facebook we'll build up a fan base, create our own website and and sell our books. We'll even work on how to draw books and mini series on the side, if we can.

The prefered team would be a author who can come up with a well thought out 50-100 chapter comic book, and create story boards.
I would like to handle character designs, layout and penciling the pages.
Someone who's good at miscellaneous art, like cars, tanks, buildings etc.
Someone who's really good at inking line art. (I think that I suck at inking, if someone can out do me then please contact me, I need you for this project!)
Someone who's really good at toning and or coloring the finished inks. (If noone else is available then I'll gladly handle this.)

Anyone who's willing to work with me on this project has to be able to keep in contact with me and the other artists in anyway possible; I'm entirely for working with anyone online if necessary. If we all can work constantly on the book at the same time and keep up open communications we should be able to produce an entire chapter between 1-2 weeks.

I know a person who can publish the volumes when it is over and we'll all split the profit and apply for other projects in the future. Maybe by then I will be ready to tackle Mizuran with an entire team.

After working on my stories for such a long time, I've come to realize one thing.

I'm not good enough to start my own series.

My art style is generic, I have little understanding of backgrounds, my anatomy leaves a lot to be desired; and though I've thoroughly planned out where the story leads up to, I have yet to master the story's pacing an things tend to either be too short or agonizingly long. Long story short, I have much to learn. That being said Mizuran is once again going on an Extended Hiatus... sigh...

 

Currently I am attending a graphic design course in college and am currently working with a writer - blacksmithjadow0 - on designs for his story. (Which is pretty good so far.) I want to differentiate my style and give myself and identity. I don't want my generic, looks-like-I-copied-out-of-a-how-to-draw-manga-book style to turn people away from the story and I want to get my story's pacing just right so when the day comes that Mizuran gets its grand reboot it'll be the most amazing thing you've ever seen. I honestly don't know how long it's gonna take, I might have to open up new deviantart and mangamagazine accounts when my series returns but that'll happen when it happens.

 

To blacksmithjadow0 (not going to give out his real name) - No this doesn't mean I'm quitting your story, but it does mean I'll be changing up some of those character designs for the better.
